Assessment Packet
I thought I would share the assessment packet I created for this first unit. I have found it helpful to have more details in my rubric to ensure that my grading is accurate and fair. I took Elk Grove School Districts Rubric and formatted it a bit to fit my grading needs.
Here is a link to the Personal Narrative Rubric I used for this unit. I branched out from the focus areas of the rubric provided in the unit and specified the skills and elements that students needed to show in their narratives. Bold text indicates specific skills and elements that need to be evident in order to qualify for the highest scoring category. Italicized text indicates skills and elements that were missing or only briefly addressed.
